Instead of merely pivoting the flaps are on tracks. There are 3 basic configurations – for hot and high takeoff, for a typical takeoff and for landing. The flaps go back a bit for takeoff, and just a little further for
landing. Deflection can be varied at various track positions.

The Phenom is virtually filament free, only the wing inspection lights for the icing system have traditional light bulbs.
