Aerovista is a decade old private company established in 1997 by Apandi Lakhiyalov. Having started as an aviation service provider, the company today operates three core divisions - airline, travel & tourism. Aerovista now has a skilled team of 80 staff within its various business units.
The Airline division holds a UAE Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and operates a fleet of Boeing 737s in the MENA region. The airline is registered as Aerovista Gulf Express and operates ad-hoc charters as well as wet leases within the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and CIS region. The commercial and operations team of this division is located in the Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA) while the engineering and maintenance team is located the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone).
In 2006, Aerovista Gulf Express placed an order for 4 Boeing 737-200s. 2 of the aircraft joined the fleet in August 2006 and are being operated for ad-hoc charters and wet lease operations.
